Domenico Flabanico was the 29th Doge of the Serenissima (1032-1043).

Also known as Flabiano or Flabianico.

He was a tribune, considered responsible for the popular uprisings against the doge Ottone Orseolo.

Under him, the first constitutional law of the Republic was introduced that limited the powers of the doge, ending the hereditary monarchical principle that many doges had tried to establish.
