Amongst Cadore's earliest achievements are the frescoes on the ground facade of the Fondaco dei Tedeschi in 1508-1509. At the same time, Giorgione was working on the façade on the Grand Canal. The programme of the entire decoration, which was destroyed in a short time, is unfortunately not reconstructible.
Also dating from around the same years is the Country Concert in the Louvre, long attributed by critics to Giorgione, an allegory of musical harmony as a reflection of the social and cultural contrast theorised by Pietro Bembo. This painting is part of a series of works with a musical theme typical of the period in question, such as the Three Ages at Palazzo Pitti, attributed to Giorgione, and Titian's Concerto in the same gallery. Cadorino also produced works for settings outside Venice, combining musical themes with love and mythology, as in The Andri (1523-24) in the Prado. Noteworthy in this context is Amor sacro e profano (Sacred and profane love) in the Galleria Borghese in Rome, an amorous allegory propitious to a curious marriage union.
