Back to the lagoon and looking at the unfinished facade of the Church of San Marcuola, Palazzo Memmo Martinengo Mandelli is located to the left of the place of worship dedicated to Saints Ermagora and Fortunato, to the right of which is Casa Gatti Casazza.

It was built by the Memmo dynasty in the eighteenth century even if already starting from the tenth century there was a building belonging to the family, one of the 24 inscribed in the Golden Book of the Venetian aristocracy as well as one of the 12 "apostolic" families that participated in the election of the first doge in 697.
