A house-museum that was the residence of Giuseppe Gatti Casazza, an engineer and interior designer who was a great collector of 18th-century Venetian objects. A house that deserves to be contemplated, even from the adjacent Campo San Marcuola.

Casa Gatti Casazza is characterized by an initial exquisitely Gothic layout (as evidenced by the beautiful windows - single trefoil lancet windows - which can be seen from Campo San Marcuola) but it is evident how the original features were transformed in particular between the 19th and 20th centuries. .

What can be admired today, therefore, is a structure composed of a set of various architectural and decorative elements mixed together and which, to an inexperienced eye, can be difficult to distinguish which are the authentic ones and those reproduced.
