A park of great historical importance for the city, thanks to the presence of a section of ancient city walls and a small tower belonging to Castelnuovo di Mestre, now partially incorporated into modern buildings.
The tower, called Teralii, Belfredo or di Santa Maria, consisted of a part leaning against the city walls plus another protruding one, defining the exit passage from the town towards the road to Treviso.
