A park of great historical importance for the city, thanks to the presence of a section of ancient city walls and a small tower belonging to Castelnuovo di Mestre, now partially incorporated into modern buildings.The tower, called Teralii, Belfredo, or di Santa Maria, consisted of a part leaning against the city walls and another protruding section, defining the exit passage from the town towards the road to Treviso.
