Teresa Sensi was born on 27 December 1899 in Perugia. Her father, Torello, was an art professor; when he was widowed he married a widow with two daughters and from this new union Teresa was born, who grew up in a close and loving family.She began her studies in her hometown and attended high school, demonstrating skills and a predilection for writing. He was only 16 years old when his mother died. She then moved with her father to Bologna where she began to collaborate with the magazine Il fuoco edited by Antonio Foschini.
