This bridge, recently built, connects the long and sunny Riva dei Giardini, which begins when Riva Sette Martiri ends, with the Pinewood of Sant'Elena or Parco delle Rimembranze, a popular district of Venice where there is also the stadium dedicated to the aviator. Pier Luigi Penzo.
Built in the first half of the twentieth century, the bridge has a brick and stone structure and brick balustrades; on its sides, in the center of the arch, three stone coats of arms.
Nearby it is possible to visit the pavilions of the Giardini della Biennale or stroll in the green lung of Venice: the Giardini di Castello.
There is a bridge of the same name, which connects Viale Giuseppe Garibaldi with the access to the Public Gardens: Ponte dei Giardini in Riva dei Sette Martiri.
