Giuseppe Canali, painter and poet, was born in Venice on 21 March 1885.After taking private classical lessons at home, due to his father's excessive sense of protection, he began to frequent the studio of the family friend Alessandro Milesi, who would become his favourite teacher and would always be remembered by him with affection and gratitude.
