A forest created in the 1990s, which integrates a great biodiversity and offers a great sense of relaxation. Like the Carpenedo Forest, it has the characteristics of a lowland oak-hornbeam forest and includes an observation tower.

It is rectangular in shape and has an extent of 8 hectares, between the Osellino canal and the Rione Pertini. Practically at one of the entrances to the centre of Mestre, which often goes unnoticed by those who are not familiar with it, or mistaken more simply for a 'normal' green area.It was created by the Azienda Regionale Foreste in 1994 and wanted by the then Prosindaco per Mestre - Gaetano Zorzetto - whose vision was of a more beautiful city, more liveable and with a better quality of life in general: "think Anna, what a Sunday morning will be like for our grandchildren and their children
