Colour painting by Francesco Guardi: it depicts the interior of Palazzo Contarini dal Zaffo, specifically its garden. On the left is a glimpse of the lagoon with mountains on the horizon, then various buildings and, in the foreground, the garden with a few people strolling. It is a decorative garden, as was customary at the time, with well-designed flower beds and not much greenery.
