In cases of emergency, a useful and organized communication on how to move in these cases makes the difference, both for those who need help and for those who want to give it. This is where we give our contribution.

IMPORTANT: The aid and rescue operations will be coordinated by the Civil Protection (Protezione Civile), together with the institutions of the territory. Although in good faith, we always remember not to hinder these operations.

1. Important things to remember in these cases

  • In emergencies operations are— and must necessarily be coordinated by the competent institutions, follow their instructions and directives
  • Do not interfere with rescue, recovery and aid operations, especially on site and especially if it is communicated explicitly by the institutions (yes, even going to photograph and make videos)
  • Join existing spontaneous groups, rather than create new ones and disperse energy in this way - there are no prizes and no one who won the idea first
  • Spread useful news, but before doing so, pay attention and check that they are not scams, distorted or inaccurate information
  • In Pellestrina, in case of exceptional tides, it is advised to bring cars to the sea
  • In general, do not place any kind of waste on the street (contact Veritas for bulky waste: 800 811 333)
