This bridge is located on the Ferrovia-Strada Nuova route, at the end of Rio Terà della Maddalena. One of the so-called crooked bridges that connects Rio Terà with Strada Nuova obliquely, as the two calli are offset from each other. It was originally built in iron, but in the early twentieth century it was rebuilt in stone. On the sides there is a stone coat of arms depicting the Marcian Lion.

A few steps from the bridge is the Church of Santa Maria Maddalena, in its typical round shape, and the Church of Santa Fosca.
